Recent effort at being artistic! 56k beware

I went to paris this weekend and took lots of nice touristy snaps. However an opportunity came up at la defence, so tell me what you think!

La defence is full of crazy buildings, all in a row and lots of 'artistic' french sculpture. May play with photoin pjotoshop to see what i can do.

Has it had any edits done to it or is that the raw image?

For a raw image (raw meaning unaltered straight from cam not a raw pic file)... pretty good

Have done some quick tweaks myself... cos i like to test myself a bit...

my take on it can be seen at

    Tower1 Copy.jpg

might look a bit blue on some screens tho...depending on how well your colour calibration is...

I think they're all good, but the yellow box stands out a lot on the last one

Cleaning the windows on that must cost a LOT... I dont like french buildings.. looks like its going to fall down...

That second version looks great, my photoshop isn't working atm, so I've been using ImageReady, still does the job though.

Thanks for all the kind comments! It was taken with a 300d with the stock lens. I haven't got round to taking out my telephoto yet as it is a bit unwieldy for foreign travel. However when the weather cheers up I may take myself over to Wimbledon common to try and snap some wildlife and whatever else crosses my path.

I like the original picture, very moody. Fantastic building too.
