    Question Toothpaste

Are there any toothpastes out there that actually whiten ur teeth and u notice a difference. All the brands state whitening toothpaste but i dont believe it for a second. Has anyone had any experiences in teeth whitening at a budget. Suggestiions would be greatly appreciated

Most toothpaste is exactly the same for me... I normally either use colgate deep clean or macleans detox...

    have you tried pearl drops?

They're meant to be quite good, but only if it's plaque. If you smoke or drink lots of tea or coffee your teeth are probably stained, which means unless you go to the dentist to have them whitened, they arent going to get whiter by using toothpastes.

If they are really bad you could try smoker's toothpaste, but that can erode the enamel so don't use it everyday!

I have a toothbrush with a slightly odd design think its colgate (manual) which is supposed to whiten teeth but I think its a load off rubbish.

I've been using it for a fair while now without any vague difference.

    Marketing schmarketing.

I think we should have a poll to see how many people use electric vs. manual

I drink scads of tea & coffee in the coarse of the day & have to use pearl drops once a fortnight/month. Does the job. Still visit the dentist every 6 months for a scrape & polish. Must work, 37 years & still no fillings

Plus my dentist is one hot babe Flinkin gorgeous.

The witening toothpastes are suposed to damage your teeth. I like the Mcleans Detox, makes your mouth nise and your teeth clean. If you want them really white get your dentist to do it. If he tries to do anything else tell him to f--- off. Its your money, your life and your teeth.
