    Question Clubs in London

Not sure if its ok to post here, but im going out friday for my 20th in london. I want to start of cheap with a weatherspoons. Then hit a bar then club or straight to a club. I would like some recomendations on what the good clubs r. My music taste is mainly old school dance, and "club music" not a rnb or hip hop fan.

Im thinking of covent garden leicster square/picadilly kind of area.

    Any suggestions lads/laddesses

Cheesy music is always a winner after a few drinks...

You gotta go to Fabric, it will cost about £12 with NUS to get in but its amazing. The bar prices are a bit expensive but its the best club I have ever been to. The dance floor even vibrates in time with the music Just make sure you stay away from Leicester Square. All the clubs there are utter crap.

Another vote for Fabric, even though I've never been there myself! Everyone I know who's been has loved it.

Avoid leicester square clubs - but note there is a wetherspoons in leicester square next to the Odeon, so might wanna hit that area first.
Not that there aren't wetherspoons everywhere else too, but hey.

fabric gets my vote - had some real special nights there, and one of the best nights was when freestylers played.

As for the dance floor - Awesome, truely awesome - it bounces with the bass... bass so loud your body FEELS the music.

*sobs* I want to go at weekend now....

I have been on Drum & Bass nights as well, standing in front of those speakers can't be good for your heart. You can feel every organ in your body shake. Oh and they got amazing leather beds there you can chill out on for a bit if you want.

Everywhere in London is like that. Leicester Square is much worse for that kind of thing. There are loads of taxi's and bus stops just by the club. I cant remember the fabric website but here is a good review of the place

It can't be any worse than Elephant and Castle where the MOS is. I haven't been clubbing for years now, but I must say I fancy going to Fabric having read that review.
