E4 coming to freeview (not top-up tv crap)

E4 is the digital entertainment channel from Channel 4. It is available on Cable, Satellite and from the 27th May, Freeview.

its only free so they can pass off loads of that big brother twaddle on over the summer...i wouldn't be surprised if it becomes 'un-free' soon enough.

it'l do for a daily hour of friends, and the occasional good film they show (gattica a few months back, kickass film)

shame it will be full of big brother for the next few months, wont even be looking to e4 until its over

its an extra channel for us poor peepz that cant afford sky

Dont look to happy, you wont be able to watch anything good on e4 becuase its freeview launch co-insided with Big Brother Series who cares. So 24/7 BB, huray.

For around £30 freeview is great. Almsot every tv in our house has a box now. T

Uhm, Big Brother isn't 24/7 on E4...never has been. There are still all the usual popular shows on ER, Desperate Housewives, The O.C etc etc. And even then, Big Brother is only 10 weeks of the year.

I second that.

Our landlord in our flats installed cable for all of us to get the terrestrial channels so as to rid the roof of aerials ages ago. Then I realised that on some of the random high channels we recieved E4, ITV2 etc. By the time the free E4 mysteriously disappeared into the ether, I was so hooked I bought cable from ntl.

Then realised it was s**t and moved to Homechoice

It's about 22... Only because it's against human rights to be broadcast for 24hrs a day or something...

heh not really missing out, theres nothing good at all on m+m..unless you count the stuff that C5 used to show before they realised it was too poor even for them
