Just downloaded, and was wondering what plugins any of you guys use? Or would recommend? The True Binary clock looks like a laugh!

Have they sorted out the memory issues yet?
Last time I tried it, it would suck up huge swathes of system memory in order to accomplish very little..

I'm just about to install it now...
Haven't heard of that, it's a thing that lets you put stuff on your desktop, like clocks and CPU monitors.
More like Apple's Dashboard
(They both use java/javascript, html, & css "widgets")

for what it is - there are better things out there for free!
Seems to work pretty good. Have the BBC news RSS and the local weather up. They do use up a fair bit of ram.
Yeah, I've got weather and news on, and a nice clock, doesn't seem to affect gameplay at all, or general performance.
its fantastic, I used the first version for ages and the second is way better. Some of the widgets are really cool, great if you have a dual screen setup.
I was just thinking I need more monitor space.. Although I have the weather, clock, and either news feed or Uptime monitor, and they don't seem to take up much space on my desktop.Originally Posted by Famished
I tried to use Samurise before but could never get it to display what I wanted and building my own desktop, what a joke! I could get a few things in basic text but couldn't control where they were, or any graphics. Live feeds, what a joke again. Didn't know what to do, didn't know what to download.
Is there an idiots guide for Samurise, or Konfabulator, to setting it up as I'd love to see this info on my desktop!
Konfabulator is well easy to setup, you download the program and then just go to the website and download what widgets you want to run. They are all free standing little programs that work from the off.
