Even though I'd read about the lousy bitrates they mostly use in the UK, I bought a Perstel DR-201 from Scan when they were going cheapish as a Today Only.

Not only was the sound quality better when I switched it to FM, but FM reception with the aerial down is much more reliable than DAB reception with the aerial extended. Especially when travelling e.g. on a bus. Very disappointing, and sadly, because of that, I haven't made the effort to try out all the channels.

DAB Signal is excellent here, especially through my nice new DAB tuner (http://www.cambridgeaudio.com/summar...DAB%2FFM+tuner) I mostly listen to 6Music and 1Xtra but do station jump when im board.

Yeah I love DAB, ever since I got one for Christmas. I have a nice 'Pure Evoke - 1XT' which is a great system. In my area I get a great signal on all channels, even with the aerial down!.. Soo thats cool. I also use it to wake me up in the morning which is a great feature, better than an annoying alarm sound.

The quality is great, and because it only has one speaker I just connected it up to my PC speakers, which sounds awesome. They're definately recommended by me, as there are tons of new and extra stations to suit everyones taste in music.

I'm just stuck with low-power local stations at the moment, can't wait until they turn on the other channels around here

Bought my girlfriend one and we love it. BBC 7, 6 Music and OneWord are probably the only stations worth bothering with though. Hopefully we will get better chioces soon. I think the sound quality is pretty good to be honest. As good as I will ever need, even through an AMP and good speakers.

I listent to they via DVB on my freeview box. You can get Fewwview boxes for £30 now. And the coverage is alot better than dvb. Make sure you get one with audio outs and you cna jsut plug it into your sterio and go.
