    Thats were i found it (well, after 3 hours of reading about dyson balls, lazer cooling, kardashev scale, faster than light travel, wormholes and related stuff)

    Yes and yes, it's wrong. Global warming isn't determined by the position of the earths orbit, it's down to the ecosystem. If they change the orbit of the earth in the way they want to it'd be winter all year around

    Even if there were 10 billion people in the same place, each one about 20kg overweight, all of whom could jump 10 metres in the air and land at exactly the same time, AND if the earth was a smaller fraction of its actual mass, the world would be moved a distance equal to about half the radius of a hydrogen atom
