Guys, i think some of you need to take stuff in the context it is ment. Arnie was not saying that killing jews was ok, or invading neighbouring countries was the thing to do.

All the man is saying is that Hitler was someone who despite his background and physical apparence still managed to inspire and command people. If he had used his power for good we would probably be a more unified world more technologically advanced than we are today.

The only reason not to look up the Hitler is because he abused his abilites. Just because of the way he acted your judging him. Try and seperate the good points from the bad actions. Mebbe if more people did that then we could all get along.

Bottom line is, arnie is a great guy, everyone thats worked with him says he is. Dont judge him for admiring someones good points.

I admire his ability as an orator and a public speaker, but theres nothing else I admire about him. Make no mistake the guy was a nutter with a very twisted mind. Arnie was referring to Hilters ability to reach out to his audience and grab their attention, and his ability to whip an audience into a frenzy.

If you ever get the chance to see the BBC World at War series, please do - its a fascinating insight into the way Hitler was able to manipulate his audience - some women actually claimed to reach a state of orgasm during some of his speeches.

Hitler was a victim of his own success though, he not only viewed himself as the ultimate politician, but also the ultimate Military Commander, and his intervention in Germanys war strategy, against the advice of his most loyal generals, ultimately brought about Germany's downfall.

That's not all... Hitler actually believe that he himself has been given the divine mission to save Europe from the Bolshevik/Slavic hoads from the East (read: Soviet Russia) and, of course, Germany from the 'poison' of Western civilization (read: Jews).
