    250 Hz powerballs.....OUCH !!!!

Seeing as many of you folks have been harping on about powerballs for ages and this was a prize in a current competition I was in I thought I might as well see what all the fuss was about.

Yesterday was the day the "blooooo neon" powerball arrived in the lovely macho-man style box and very vague instructions.

After fiddling with the ball for a while I finally got the hang of it and last night reached 9872 rpms before my hands would get too sweaty and the powerball would then wobble all around making it very difficult to hold and get a higher score.

Any hints on how to stop it getting the "wobble" and passing the 10,000 rpm mark without being like Arnie

I totally mashed up my first due to handing it in experienced flat mates...just poped it in the post to ireland and lifetime warranty...couple of days later brand new one delivered

i find it pretty easy to get to 10K+...maybe its just me, for top speeds ...your hand should have as little movement as possibble, and the speed will go up, i had the same sort of score when i first got it, but everytime after it you should get better and notice diffrence in your hands.

    Wicked.

It wobbles mainly down to my hands being quite damp when getting to that RPM speed - not due to an issue with the gyroscope inside.

Nice to know its got a lifetime warranty though.... cheers for that

If you havent tried already , try holding it upside down, ie the meter is facing the ground and spin..if you are already doing it this way then try the oposite, also visit the powerball forum...read up on better techniques suggested by fellow powerball users

Already been on there about 10 mins before ...spooky huh

I better not damage my CS hand so I've got to build up usage of the ball really.

Indeed. I only got it as its got neon LED's in and if it was not that good I could hack it to bits and then stick them in various locations in my PC.....

BUT NO... I'm not hacking it to bits. It's great and is a truely great workout for the forearm and everyone in the office wants me to bring it in tomorrow so we can have a league running on our dinner-breaks

These should come with a government health warning that they are totally addictive.

I bought one for my father-in-law, I gave it a thorough test of course and got a nasty blister on one of my fingers where it was rubbing - basically the one I got was too small for my hands - should be fine with him though.
