    Go to the dentist regularly!

    Hello!

I just went to the dentist today after 5 years, because bits were falling off one of my teeth ! Anyway - They check it out thinking it'll need a simple filling - but nope - it was decayed inside and fractured - so they had to take all the decay away and put a temporary cover on... next week we get to see what they do to fix it !

They used drills and gave me 2 injections!

So make sure you go regularly for check-ups so you don't have to go through what I'm going through! And make sure you brush your teeth regularly!

    Josh

What did he have done for it to cost that much?

And, IIRC, you only pay the first £300 of it, then the NHS covers it?

If I Recall Correctly, and it could have been private.

Twice a day, but more so if I have a Coke drink, or something as equally sugary and stains teeth.

He had to have a filling replaced along with some other treatment on the teeth itself, i think the caps on other fillings had broke. I don't know whats going on with the payment, whether its private or not - he has had a large bill to pay thats all i know!

    Lol

Sixty seconds upper and same again lower, my electric brush has a time.

But this will make u want too go too dentist.

My dad died of acute pancreaitus, cos he was drinking everyday. it wasnt till the post mortem we realised why.

He was so scared of dentist and going, his teeth had rotted thru the roof of his mount into his navil cavity. so basically they'd rotted thur his upper jaw bone, i cant imagine how much that must of hurt!

    So go too the dentist

brushing once a week is fine, even with lots of coke, usually drink 2liters every 3 days
ur gums will bleed slightly if u leave this much of a gap each time though but ur teeth will be fine (make sure ur breath dont smell though!)
going to dentist every 6 months is important though, ive only had a few fillings so far

I heard from my dentist (neal, nice chap) that brushing with electric brushes is bad because it removes all of the plaque and some is needed to prevent your teeth from becoming overly sensitive.

Also soft drinks soften tooth enamel and therefore its best not to brush for an hour or so after drinking coke or something

My dentists so busy they can only fit people in about every 8 months bah must be cos the nurses are so fine
