    Exclamation Hayfever Remedy Please

Does anyone know of a hayfever remedy/something that I can do to make the symptoms less servere by using stuff in the house? I've tried a few things from elsewhere (shop/doctors etc), but nothing seems to work properly. I was outside playing football for two hours in a field, and now it's really hit me - especially since I was the only one wearing trousers, I always had to get the ball from the hedge .

Put a hedgehog on your head, a chili under your nose and some mustard on your chest. I saw it on an advert once, it might work

Get loads of hay, pollen and other plants, put them in your room, and jump about and get really hot.

Ice cubes down the pants are actually a really good remedy for hayfever, my doctor recommended it to me, I think you should try it.

Achoo! Nope that hasn't worked at all .

Tbh, I think it's actually the pollen that's causing it - maybe that's why they called it HAYfever...

Try cutting of your nose! And then conversation can go like this.

    "Adrian's got no nose!"
    "Really, now does he smell"
    "Like crusty blood, lol!!!111!!!!one!!!"

    On a serious note...

It took me a while last year to find the right stuff for my hayfever. I take 1 Zirtek tablet a day, and 2 lots of Beconase (nasal spray). Seems to keep it under control

I took zirtek today, but it doesn't seem to have done much. I'll keep at it though - I might need to take them over a few days for it to have any affect.

step one: pull all your money out of your account
step two: buy a plane ticket to iceland and fly over there
    step three: return in winter

solved. my commission is 10% total cost of your remedy.

I go to the doctor. Get Benadryl tabs on prescription. Pay £3.60 (I know I know - it's lower over here) get hayfever tabs for whole summer. 3 a day. Alternatively, you can get a treatment over 3 years, they give you an injection once a year, it makes you proper ill... like hayfever but a gillion times worse for a day or two, then after the three years, you've been assaulted by such a concentration of pollen that you are immune to it.

I have an injection that's much less harmful than Tumble's suggestion... Kenalog.

This is the 3rd year in row I've had it and it's working pretty well so far. I have had intolerable hayfever since my early school days. Sometimes I haven't been able to leave the house as I was unable to see anything, and playing football with my mates could be a nightmare as I got rashes from the grass. I've had an operation on my nose so even when it was pretty blocked I should still be able to breathe (which didn't really help much) and have been through numerous tables, eye drops and nasal sprays which didn't work. This is the only thing that has really helped.

Don't you mean Greenland? There's virtually no plants/grass etc on Greenland.

I've always wondered why Iceland is covered in greenery, yet Greenland is covered in ice. Didn't they get it the wrong way round?
