    Talking U2 Vertigo Tour

    I saw U2 in Cardiff last night, and despite what people say about them being old and crusty, they were absolutely awesome. And added that The Killers were supporting! This was the playlist:

    Vertigo
    I Will Follow
    Electric Co.
    Elevation
    New Year’s Day
    Beautiful Day
    I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For
    All I Want is You
    City of Blinding Lights
    Miracle Drug
    Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own
    Love and Peace
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Bullet The Blue Sky
    Running to Standstill
    Pride In the Name of Love
    Where the Streets have No Name
    One

    Zoo Station
    The Fly
    With or Without You

    All Because of You
    Yahweh
    Vertigo

    It was one long arsed set, and well worth the queuing to get in, one of the best gigs I've been too. Anyone else from Hexus there, or at another venue?

    TBH I'd have gone purely to see The Killers. I stopped liking U2 when they sold their souls to Apple.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Luckily, there was no mention of iPods or Apple at all

    They were bigging up the Make Poverty History thing too, and got everyone to hold their lit up phones in the air, as opposed to lighters. So strange seeing close to 60,000 people doing that...

    To be fair, their set was like 2 and a quarter hours long... and it seemed to go down well
