That looks fun, where was that. It's been years since I did a couple of weeks in the yorkshire wolds. The string is to show you how much yaw you're doing I think, long time ago but did go solo. Gotta love putting those airbrakes on at landing, I loved it but we mainly did winch launches and used thermals to get to some amazing wavefronts where you could go 70mph still going up 4:1 or whatever the measurement is.

I'm sure I payed a lot less than that, and it was for lessons. Two 1 week stints flying on average about 6 times a day depending on how long you could stay up. We operated the winch and did various other jobs when we weren't flying. Wish I could remember where it was, was only 11 years ago when I was 15, stupid brain.

Would definately recomend it and it's really not that hard. Just try not to stall

I flew both a powered Tutor and a unpowered Viking glider, and without a doubt, if I had to choose between the two again, i'd choose gliding.
