The 'too much' money award goes to...

    Shmee150!

I just checked your (oversized) sig and those are two crazily performing systems. Much money must be invested in those so you win the too much money award goes to you!

It's not a bad thing, i just envy you

I'm in yr12 at school (just done AS exams) so have not yet reached the stage of having to pay bills etc... and a few years ago I developed an obsession with mobile phones. I got into the habit of buying everybody in schools 2nd hand phones and then sold them all on. Took a small bit of money at a time, then this progressed and I started selling phones into school, again taking a bit of money. So then I got into buying/selling anything that I can make money on and life has progressed from there!

Recently I've also go into making/selling computers, about 10 now at £50 profit a time. So a fun way of making some money to buy my own good computer.

Before you ask, I do have my tax records in good uptodate condition

I know that I should be saving for later in life, but I can never resist buying new electronics and gizmos, so this computer is my last few months savings, that I now just need to put together, and it should be "quite" good

Looks like I need to do more research.

Do you know how much profit is untaxable for a 17yr old student?
