Union officials for London Underground say there has been at least one explosive device.

Looks like it is a terrorist attack.

timing was too conincidental to not be an attack of some sort in my mind.

The fear/alert in london in the banking areas after 9/11 was intense, I can only imagine the same is true now. Very alarming

Got 2 colleagues in central london today too. Waiting to see all this happening, and power surge and bombing of these busses are too close to be co-incidental...

Police reporting extensive casualties from the bus explosions

Eye witness reports say one half of a bus disappeared.

Well, it's not like we're suddenly going to go into a complete tail-spin, the UK as a whole has a lot of experience when it comes to terrorist activity with the IRA etc.

It does seem a bit of a co-incidence after the Olympic bid result yesterday though.

Bus explosions happened after tube explosions. Buses were more busy as people took bus once tube was closed.
