    Accommodation in Bristol

It's the time of year when all the scrotty freshers (yeah, that was me last year ) look for a new house.

Unfortunately we can't stay where we are this year, despite it being a rather nice house. Still, it'd be nice to get closer to Bristol Uni than we are now.

So, anyone know of any good letting websites for Bristol? Student-oriented would rock too.

Afternoon, I've been looking at Terry Olpin and the listings on the bristol website, you have to login for those, haven't found much yet though.

Why is clifton so expensive ?

    Clifton's expensive because it's Clifton.

What halls you in now? I was a Durdhamite last year.

We've looked at four places so far and only one of them was particularly good. As long as you're not looking for a silly number, there's plenty of time to find somewhere, provided you keep your eye on the ball. We need somewhere for four people, for example... not too big a number so it's not so hard.

I'm in Osborne Villas, so not really a hall, just behind the sports center. Bit crappy but cheap and i can wake up 10 minutes before lectures . Looking for a six, not too high but I think 5 might have been a little easier.

My Fiancée used to live in Horfield when she was @ UWE and it wasn't too bad and damn cheap. Some nice houses there for like 4+ people to share. Never had a problem (even in all the times she walked home mullared)

We live in Bishopston now... next to Horfield basically.

Looks like we've found somewhere; a flat in Clifton. Just gotta seal the deal. http://www.accommodationforstudents.com/ is a good website if you're lucky.

Ah right I know where that is.

    Six isn't necessarily too bad.

Found a nice flat in Tyndalls Park Avenue, brilliant price for the location.

Why wouldn't you want to have the option of waking up 10 minutes before your first lecture?

Jus started house hunting for next year (UEA) and I've found a few places I like the look of, some of them can be on the pricey side though

Because then HEXUS would never get updated
