Red Bull Air Race anyone? Longleat, UK

I was thinking of going but the ticket admission hand out is strange

Was also thinking since theres only me and my brother interested we could take another 3 in our car if we were to get hold of tickets, or if anyone else already has tickets and 2 spare seats

Their website: http://www.redbullairrace.com/ says you are allowed to bring as many people as your car can carry, basically the ticket is per car, not person

you register how many people you are bringing, as there is an attendance limit too, so be careful if you don't say 5 on your car that you could end up being turned away.

Be warned tho its very popular, over 4 times the number of applications to number of tickets available already!.

And i really want to go and didn't get a ticket in last weeks draw...

I don't actually know much about the event though, i just know I like planes

I'm going to the to it at the Rock of Cashel this weekend, should be fun .

They were doing a draw for them here too although I think the majority of people who wanted tickets got them. Apparently they gave out around 60,000 tickets which seems like quite a lot

its easier to place 60000 people along a course than it is in one stadium i think...more spread out over an area. i guess they just end up milling about and bumping into eachother cause they're looking up all the time

Yeah I guess that must be it because looking at the tv coverage of the other Red bull air races there never looks like a huge density of crowds.
