shiato, don't you smash your garlic with the blade of the knife? With a really big carving knife it's very satisfying

it was pasta with roasted peppers and cheese, like parmizan but something double barreled whatsit-regiano?
anyway, was nice. peppers cooked with olive oil, pepper, salt, bay leaves. simple but very effective.
