    Yay! Holiday! (any advice?)

I'm going on holiday this year! Yay!

But the thing is it's very different. Me and one of my best mates (an irish chick from belfast who used to live in Guernsey years ago) are going to Paris for xmas and belfast for new years. I go to uni again in October so i won't be home until march next.

What's happening is, when the xmas holiday starts she's coming to hang out at mine for a few days, then we're going to get the eurostar to paris from london i think. We'll spend a week there, but we're backpacking it so we'll stay in hostels. From there we'll get a plane to Belfast and spend new years there and then get planes back to wherever

So does anyone know of any hostels / cheap flights / eurostar stuff or anything else i need to know?

Oh also, it's my b-day xmas eve so my b-day and xmas in Paris with a mate

    I'm excited!

And be subtle in yout attempts to make him say 'Shtop!'

Nothing major of note ever happens in Belfast on New Years asides from the odd batch of fireworks, it usually pisses rain.

But come to Northern Ireland anyway! See what it's really like rather than what you get on the news

Well that's not going to worry me then

I checked out how much it'll take us to get to Paris from London by train. £60 for 2 of us and it only takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes

Just need to find a flight from Paris to Belfast now
