I think I'll steer clear of starcraft alhough I have been quite addicted to warcraft.
Thats absolutley crazy, but you have to wonder if 50 hours is really possible, non-stop playing. I mean, he must have made loo breaks, and food breaks?! Perhaps that why he died, didnt stop enough? Perhaps sheer mental exhaustion?
Haha, nice one.Originally Posted by PrivatePyle

Got the source?.. an OFFICIAL source?
I've seen thing's like this before but they turn out not to be true.
And they spelt "wired"(it's weird) wrong.
Heh, what a light weight!
Actually, I think I'll be a bit scared of doing coursework allnighters now. Haha.
Speaking of Jack Thompson check this out:
He said this, during a interview on a videogame related radio station, in the USA."Infact, we have got a bunch of sociopaths in Edinburgh-Scotland sitting around in kilts sipping their single malt whiskey, spreading racial and hurtful stereotypes."
The guy is nuts! Another great example, Senile old fool!
something tells me that being up for fifty hours and drinking bawlz is not the best idea in the world.
KM
I bet it was caused by a zerg rush.
kekekekekeke ^_^
I posted an example of this here: http://forums.brokenpixel.com/showth...ighlight=korea
in May 2003 (had to post the thread as the link to the Yahoo! news article is now dead but quote in the thread).
Towards the end, they mention a 24 year old korean who "died in October after playing the online game Mu virtually nonstop for 86 hours — three and a half days. Police said he died from a blood clot triggered by lack of physical activity."
Really? Lack of physical activity? Who would have guessed that doing nothing but gaming and taking caffein pills for 86 hours would kill you?
