The ironic one would be some atrociously poor game.

    Something like......

*thinks of one he's not gonna get flamed for*

    *thinking*

    Yep, that'll keep you healthy

Maybe games should have warnings like cigarette packets?

Thats absolutley crazy, but you have to wonder if 50 hours is really possible, non-stop playing. I mean, he must have made loo breaks, and food breaks?! Perhaps that why he died, didnt stop enough? Perhaps sheer mental exhaustion?

    Haha, nice one.

If I hadn't been told that He'd been playing Startcraft, I would have guessed that he was playing an MMORPG, they take those way too seriously over there (like that murder in China over Legend of Mir).

Actually, I think I'll be a bit scared of doing coursework allnighters now. Haha.

Speaking of Jack Thompson check this out:

"Infact, we have got a bunch of sociopaths in Edinburgh-Scotland sitting around in kilts sipping their single malt whiskey, spreading racial and hurtful stereotypes."
He said this, during a interview on a videogame related radio station, in the USA.

The guy is nuts! Another great example, Senile old fool!

I posted an example of this here: http://forums.brokenpixel.com/showth...ighlight=korea

in May 2003 (had to post the thread as the link to the Yahoo! news article is now dead but quote in the thread).

Towards the end, they mention a 24 year old korean who "died in October after playing the online game Mu virtually nonstop for 86 hours — three and a half days. Police said he died from a blood clot triggered by lack of physical activity."

Really? Lack of physical activity? Who would have guessed that doing nothing but gaming and taking caffein pills for 86 hours would kill you?
