That thing you always wanted but could never have...

    1)

Dad would never put Knight Rider lights on the family Sierra

    2)

I wanted a scalextric off the TV.... no, not the one running round my lounge, I wanted the one in the advert running through the beautiful miniture countryside with a track that took more than 7 seconds to complete.

    3)

I wanted a proper Ghetto Blaster

    4)

I NEEDED this.... I still need one.

Damn, i remember that seeing the PC in Argos many many years ago

I've always wanted build lego into my house to automate things and have a railway system that could send messages and items to othr parts of the house. This was dreamt up when i was little, well before anyone started speaking out home automation like they do now.

I always wanted the sword from Thundercats, the one that lit up and everything but my parents never let me have any toy weapons
A proper RC car was something i wanted too..I think it was called the Scorpion. In the end i got the mini-scorpion which was similar but not as big or fast

    1) An Arsenal replica shirt
I thought I was gonna get one for my birthday, but I was given an Arsenal T-shirt. I was polite about the whole thing, but my god I wasn't best pleased.

    2) A Megadrive
Again, I thought I was gonna get one for my birthday, but got a master system instead. This wasn't as disappointing but still...

I always wanted a mega drive. I only just inherited one this year. But hey, it's got Streets of Rage 2, which kicks the arse of Half Life

As for being an only child, I'll stick with me dogs before I'd want siblings.
