    jaguar f1 in schools

    http://www.f1inschools.com

hi, iv'e got the regional finals of my f1 in schools on wednesday. my team is the only one i the borough to complete a car and a folder. so for those of you who don't know what i'm going on about here it is :

the team in which i manage have had to design and manufacture a car ( co2 powerd, 8cm x 30cm) which has to travel 20 meters in under a second and complete a 20 page folder we have been working on this for over a year and it is D-Day on wednesday!

myself and my team are really nervous so we coud really do with some words of encouragement!!

It would have to be travelling faster than this at the end of the run to make up for the lost acceleration at start. I would imagine its the acceleration that is the crucial thing.

    Good luck with it tho!

Remember my school signed up for something like this, although it was a frictionless racer we had to create. Then they realised it might cost money and pulled out We were having great fun with Aerodynamics and Friction, really interesting stuff when you get to apply it to a real project.

Good luck with your one, sounds like you are on top of it though. Sure you will do great!

Does anyone else read the link as F-in schools - as in F**KING schools?

No, just me? Maybe I have issues with reading the number 1. Doh.
