This Mr Wainwright, now sadly gone, knew how to write

You need to read Tom Sharpe - The great escape if you like this. It will give you so much insight into the inner workings of publishers and what works and what doesn't in literacy publishing.

The fact the whole book is written as a comic novel makes it even funnier to read.

Am off to Edale (begining of pennine way) in a couple of weeks to do some walking. Think Edale is one of my favourite places, especially out of season when theres less people around. Small village 2 pubs, shop, train station and a cafe.
