I'm quite shocked at the hostility towards those who feel it needs minor tweaking.

The thing is - we have seen the feedback, and we have seen it several times.

We are not being hostile, but everytime we do a change this happens.

Just trust us.

takes awhile to get used to.... one thing i do find annoying is that the care@hexus is at the top of the forum, when most users seem to use the other sections. Makes more sense to have it at the bottom.... but guess they are paying u in someway or something.

I understand you have reasons for changing things and i've been here long enough to appreciate and understand we get something provided for free and we should be greatful.

The one thing i sometimes feel is that when changes are made, people aren't going to like some aspects of the changes. I'm sure that most people making suggestions are only interested in helping.

I have to admit that I too dislike the lower case general discussion etc, That the top level forums seem to me to need upper case letters. I'm also less sure about all the technical forums being at the bottom now?.

Again not wanting to rock the boat, but hexus is a technical source of information?, it seems a shame to hide its technical community source down the bottom?.

My main issue is the amount of scrolling compared to before. I need to turn my mouse wheel three times to hit the "hardStuff". On that page, I need to turn my mouse wheel three times again (thats about 1.3 of a pg down) just to get a full screen of threads.

I normally don't mind cosmetic changes too much, in fact I'd say I get used to them relatively quickly. But I've not really found the trick to browse more efficiently right now. Maybe a forum jump menu at the very top of the page (rather than at the very bottom) might be nice to have.

Some of the names leave a lot to be desired too; HexusHardStuff... sounds like there should be porn in there

And Hexus.binaries, makes me think 'newsgroups'.

There's probably quite a bit on there forums that most of us don't know. Like that forum subscription thing. I had absolutley no idea that was there.
