Let you collect a parcel from them on saturday should it be at your local depo? Realised they wont deliver on saturday, and I have a few items on the way.
cheers

They usually let you collect if they've already tried to deliver...but whether they will before they've tried to deliver is another matter.
If you call the Parcel Force customer service (which is a contradiction in terms) they should be able to tell you. Plus, if you lie and tell them some tall tale about waiting for a parcel for weeks, tried putting messages through the customer service etc.etc. they might give you the actual phone number for the local depot so you can check that they have your parcel and don't mind you popping down to pick it up....be warned, this almost never happens. I had months of problems with Parcel Force before I was able to get the local depot number.
Last but not least, if you're going down, get there early, 'cause the queues are huge on Saturdays.

Useful to know, thanks.
hmm, last parcel i had delivered to home by parcel force, they put it in the back garden without even checking to see if there was anyone at home by ringing the front door (there were two people in the house!). Found it out the back in the afternoon.
Time before that they left it with a 'neighbour' (about 10 houses away) without leaving a note at my house (fortunately it was an honest neighbour).
Well, turns out its going via Royal Mail SD, and so far they've been good to me so I cant complain.
Same here, found a £200 box of electronics rather soggy 4 hours after it was reported as being delivered. Needless to say I was pissed off as I was in the entire day.Originally Posted by Stormsinger
