Yeah the fonts do seen a tad small and I only run 1024!
the fonts are the same size as before, but they are a different font.
Your eyes will get used to it, mine have and I have been staring at this code for over a week in various shapes and forms.

Looks better to me. I like the various changes that I've noticed so far. The smaller type(even on 1600x1200, everything always annoys me by how unneccesarily large it is, in general) and the extra space for a quick reply. I like.
Now I am using a Mac this forum looks 3 times better![]()
I can read it just fine... No probs at all!

font: 10pt tahoma, verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
all of those are microsoft fonts, bar helvetica and the sans-serif fallback.
verdana (what i'm using) and arial are available for free, as part of a brief crack-smoking moment by microsoft to give away "core web fonts" for "interoperability"
I'm not saying it doesnt look better in general, just the font seems smaller, other than that it does look a lot tidier...
1600x1200 on my formac 2010 can read it fine.. but then i've always had small font sizes since the days of running 1600x1200 on my old 17" back in '96

Guess it depends on your screen size. If you're running 1600x1200 in a 19" or god forbid a 17" monitor then I can see it'd be really small, but for a 21" it looks great. Neater, nicer, less bloaty.
tired it on a few monitors (differnt resolutions) on varies pc's around the house and tbh it looks fine !
