Today I am mostly angry !!

Does it seem just lately death is all around us ?

Maybe I read too much now, or the way we recieve news is more upto date, but I just want to hear something on the news good for once.

Make sure you catch the local new on Channel 1 or 3. Garunteed 'filler' story at the end.

"And today, some children in some school made some masks. They where rubbish, but that's ok 'cause they're only 8 years old"

Speaking of masks - did anyone see the sequel to The Mask? Any good? Or completely pants?

More pants than a pants store in a place where people buy a lot of pants.

It's either a natural disaster or a terrorist attack and it seems there's no let up this year .

    I blame Firefox.

I can't help but read the news now as its too easy for me. I should delete it, but don't think I could cope with the DT's.

I just NEED 1 good old fasioned feel good news item , random act of god like kindness and I will be fine for a while

OK, let's turn this around and all share our own happy news then!

    Hooray!

I'm going to use this as a self-indulgent way to exclaim how happy I am that the comedy club I'm involved in - XS Malarkey - won the Best Comedy Club at the northwest comedy awards ceremony on Friday night :-)

(i'm the spiky one in the blue shirt )

So what else has happened to you that's made you happy / proud then?

    Share it!

    Great news m8,

you could have dressed it up a little for me though.

About how you joined to save them from a total distaster and within the time you have been there how you have given them all great inspiration to work together, and brought the humour back into the group.
Infact I like my version soo much , you are my hero of the hour. !!!

Or maybe add something about how you met your boyfriend through the club, and he proposed to you that night?

I had got some off the missus last night!

Well, it might not be all that important to you guys, but after 12 years of marriage, it's a major event!

It's the 24 hour news thing. I find I only really care about things if I spend time reading about them. I only care about poltics if I actually click the politics link, same with science, human intrest stuff, all of it.

Just switch it all off, and you'll stop caring/feeling bad because of it.
