hehe, generally look out the window and make an on the spot decision on what the weathers like. If you use firefox however they have a bucket load of weather plugins that report the weather on the status bars or the navigation bars. Other than that the BBC website does a weather update 4 times a day.

It's hurling down with rain here, don't need www.weather.com for that

As in, what the weather should be like in the future
I can tell the weather just by looking out of the window...
corr... I NEVER believe the Met Office - its a guesstimate really as to what the weather is going to be like, not a prediction as such.

Thats where I check mine. Although, FireFox has the weather addon if you use it at all?
Yeah I use ForcastFox extension for Firefox, can customise it to how you want. Tells me the weather for today and 5 days, including nights.
I does not really mater where you go, it's all the same data from the Met Office just presented in different ways. The Met Office have their own site, but i like to use bbc.co.uk.
Weather forecasts are very inaccurate this time of year though.
BTW, i would be very interested in how people manage to tell what the weather should be like in 5 days time by looking out of the window.

Either that, or they have an amazing pair of binoculars that can see a cold front coming in off the Atlantic 1,000 miles away!

you get a city forcast, in a popup window, nice thing is, you can use that on an "active desktop" really easily. Or use a Kapsules plugin.

Good breakdown.
How can you tell the weather forecast by looking out of the window? What? You must not live in Britain. Hmm, let me see. Its cloudy, rainy, windy, and just a little bit cold. My guess would be that in five days time, it will be...cloudy, rainy....
mmmkay
My weather looks the same every day: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USOR0275_c.html
Cold and rainy as far as the forecast can see--I could have predicted that.
Media Portal has a weather plugin where you can enter your city and you get 4 day forecast, current weather and satellite images in return.
mediaportal.sourceforge.net
This is what I use for my HTPC :>
i used to use the BBC (good only aunty)
but now have a personalised google home page with the next 3 days of weather on it.
