    Hexus trust for Overclockers UK

I wanted to leave feedback for Overclockers UK (http://www.overclockers.co.uk) but couldn't find this company listed in the Hexus Trust system. Am I missing something?

They used to be one there, I left some a while back. Negative BTW. In fact most of the feedback was very negative. Maybe they got Hexus to take it down.

Their after sales service is not of the highest order I'm afraid. Of course if everything works as planned that's no great shakes. Mind you anyone can FU. It's a question of their response when you point it out.

BTW they ain't even that good on price any more. My guess is that when the latter sinks in then they'll find their sales plummeting. Even teh OC fanbois 'll leave.

I would be interested to know why. I know OCuk have threatened legal action against several other publications after their reputation got dragged through the mud recently (and with good reason too, they are terrible).

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but what is the point in the trust system then if stuff is getting withdrawn? OCuK (one of the largest retailers in the UK) needs to be on there if the system is to be of any worth, surely? Impartiality is one of the best things about Hexus.

PS, i hope i have not rubbed anyone up the wrong way, just wondering really and would hate to think someone would get stung because they did not realise how poor they are. Don't answer my questions if you don't want to!

I had a very positive experience with OCUK, amcrap took well over a week to deliver my nextday package (And even lied about leaving a note on a bank holiday monday!!!) but OCUK refunded my full delivery charge within hours of a request and chased up amcrap.

Also had to RMA a motherboard and had no problems there

There's a 250 post rant about OCUK on thedvdforums.com. And it's getting bigger by the day.

I've never had any trouble with them, but then I've never had anything go wrong, and I haven't bought from them in the last two years.

Someone posted the following link which I found quite funny, but if it's against the spirit of this board and the mods want to delete it I apologise in advance.

Take note OcUK! Hardware goes in the anti-static bag, not sitting on top of it. Also please be reminded that bubble wrap does not quite offer the same protection.

There's a great download doing the rounds of the OcUK moderator's forum, including such pleasantries from Mr. Proudfoot referring to a member as 'liberalist botty-boy loving ******' (rhymes with maggot).

It was positive, mate. I ordered a BFG 7800GT and a couple of SATA cables two nights ago. Got confirmation e-mails almost immediately. Got dispatch e-mail next day complete with CityLink tracking number. Order arrived this afternoon in perfect condition.

I must admit, I was a bit nervous ordering from them but my experience was very good.
