I thought it was rather funny when Mathew Kelly was on. Frank Skinner was choosing his words very carefully.

A few months ago Mathew Kelly was arrested for child pornography. While this was in the new's Frank Skinner was cracking jokes about it on the show. Strangely enough the documentry about Michael Jackson was the same week. Jokes going around went along these lines.... "Why do the parent's let there kids stop at Michael Jackson's house? I hope they have phoned Mathew Kelly to tell him they aren't coming tonight"

When Mathew Kelly asked about these jokes, Frank Skinner became all defensive and started asking if Mathew Kelly had ever cracked jokes about Gary Glitter, Jacko, etc...

Since the Frank Skinner Show is a commedy talk show aimed at the more mature generation, Mathew Kelly understood why the jokes were said.

been discussing that in work today - very glad i saw this!!

frank kept re-telling the gags he made at the time, i think he was hoping they'd get a laugh & get him out of a hole, but the entire studio was silent & he was just digging himself in deeper - was very cringe-making to watch

iirc franks show is repeated fairly regularly on one of the cable/sky channels, don't remember which tho, probably ITV2 or something
