Hmm, I don't think it is one of the common accessories e.g. mouse, printer - they're a fair bit older than 1983. Perhaps the floppy disk (3½ in)?

McDonalds introduced the Chicken Nugget... If that helps?

I've been through Wikipedia's 1983 section, and I can't see much. IBM released the IBM PC XT in March of that year, but as I say, nothing peripheral wise.

Waaaay off-topic, but still related to 1983 and computers..

Jon Lech Johansen (born November 18, 1983), also known as DVD Jon, is a Norwegian who is famous for his work on reverse engineering data formats. He is most famous for his involvement in the release of the DeCSS software, which decodes the content-scrambling system used for DVD licensing enforcement.

True, the Lisa had the mouse, but the mouse wasn't technically 'launched' in 1983 with that computer. Still, seems most likely; I kind of feel the quiz writer needs to rephrase it

I know this because my dad has a working Appple Lisa, complete with with orginal working printer. Worth a bit of money now.

It was released in 1983, complete with the the first consumer GUI. Maybe it's the GUI they mean? But probably the printer, as i dont think you can class a GUI as an accesory
