    yeah, you've got to be amazed at what people have accomplished in just the last fifty years with regards to technology....I'm just amazed that I've never had a dead disk in all the time I've been working with computers...

    check out this site,,

    look for the video, its of a HD that 'g33k' made a window in his old hd for, but messed it up, so the hd goes nuts!

    Do people honestly expect HDs to work when taken apart - there's a reason data recovery centres have v. expensive dustless rooms and wear white suits!
