    The problem may also be because you have 'Cookies' turned off. To set your browser to accept cookies:

    If you use Internet Explorer 6 -

    From the Tools menu, choose Internet options
    Select the Privacy tab and click on the Advanced button

    In this case it is because that isn't actually a URL to the item or search etc. I guess it is telling the web service to check your cookies to see what it is supposed to display (probably large amounts of data that would give a very long - possibly too long - url). The error is basically saying that it couldn't find the cookie data so assumes you don't have cookies enabled.

    It really pisses me off when sites do things like this. It's like when PCWorld etc. embed your session ID into the URL so it you copy/paste or save as a favourite the link is actually invalid next time you visit.

    what was that URL supposed to be for?

    Excessively long URLs annoy me tremendously too. Ebuyer's are bad, but at least they work. PC World & Co's, and Argos's, they're horrid.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
