    Attention fellow Hexites! Charity ahoy!

Somebody on here has done this before but i'm not sure who, if anyone know's i'd like to see the topic for it (I've seen Allen's but i'm sure that's not the one i'm thinking of).

    Anyway!

Later this year I will be jumping out of a plane for Charity (Possibly 6 times!?!).

The charity is Donna's Dream House. It is a local charity here in Blackpool dedicated to providing free holidays to terminally ill children who will probably never get the chance to have another holiday again.

I have scanned in the pack i recieved in the post earlier for you all to have a look at, documents are:

    Cover one

    Cover two

    Page one

    Page two

    Sponsorship letter

For every pound donated to me I am going to add £0.25, so if I recieve the minimum £620 in donations, I will be adding £155. I hope to be able to give them over £1000 myself

So, if anybody is willing to make a donation for the cause, my paypal is mozzer@mozzers.com

I know it's cheeky but please remember that paypal will take at least 20p from every transaction (rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish), iso keep it above a few quid if possible.

"half the amount raised will pay for the jump and the rest will go straight to Donnas Dream House"

So let me see if I understand this correctly. Say you need to raise a minimum of £620, then £310 pays for the jump? So what if you raise more, if you raised £10k, then £5k would pay for the jump? Seems a bit of a bum deal.

    I'll chip in

Why not use www.justgiving.co.uk to collect your donations? All the money (barring a tiny % for admin) will go to the charity and they will also be able to claim Gift Aid from your taxpaying donors. The taxman will give the charity an extra 28% on top of the original donation.

I should clarify that the minimal admin component was for the charity, not the justgiving site. I did the 26 mile Leukaemia Research bikeathon last year (doing the 50 this year hopefully). My donation page URL was in my sig until recently. Let us know yours and we can donate.
