Un-believable...a fag lighter for your spare drive bay ;)
Oh boy, I've seen everything now ! Mind you it could be quite handy as I'm always loosing lighters on my PC desk, but it gets me wondering though as the heat off it could damage the hard disk and other drives or even be a fire hazard
Hmm I wouldn't hav one of those, it is amazing what people are trying to come up with nowadays to be 'unique' and 'different'. I think it would be dangerous too!
They're supposedly completely safe(unless you burn yourself of course! Or use it for lighting ciggies), low wattage and stuff...
With car lighters, they heat up quickly due to the design of lots of thin fins, so they cool down quickly, too. I'd expect that the heat is shielded somehow from escaping the button chamber. So unless you keep pressing the button every 10 seconds, it'll be staying just as cool as the rest of your case.
You could use it to power your car phone charger if you can't be bothered freeing up a wall socket, I suppose :)
Theo...mate....you never fail to amaze me :) Talk about thinking ourside the 9 dots:) Thats exactly what it must be for :)*wanders off, shaking his head and laughing under his breath*Quote:
