    Lighting for a bedroom

Hey guys im looking to get new lights for my bedroom.

I like the look of the fancy ones you can get in the walls that are controlled via remote. Has anyone got any links to places that do cool stuff like this?

Or other cool things for the room?

    Thanx guys

I've got the URL's for some Building index sites, you might want to do a search for 'lighting', 'interior lighting' or 'domestic lighting' from these

    http://www.abc-d.co.uk/
    http://www.buildingdesign.co.uk/
    http://www.endat.com/BPMC/AtoZw.cfm

I used them while working for a property devloper and they usually get the goods so give em a go

Those mood light things look great, well pricey though.

I've just got a uplighter/reading light affair, near my desk which I use the uplighter on, so it gives a nice not to bright light. I can't stand the one on my ceiling though, just makes the room too bright.

Try getting some of the daylight effect bulbs . I was sceptical at first, but they really do make a difference ! Think the frequency is 6500k, or 9300k, cant remember . . . . .

The daylight bulbs are 5000k to 7000k. Those lights that Scan are selling look interesting. A bit out of my price range though. Think I'll stick to tesco bulbs and a normal light .

That would be . There was something on the gadget show on that a couple of weeks ago. They set up a house with light switches and other appliances that were controlled from a pda. Looked cool.

You can pick up a sound activated light switch for a few quid on eBay.

I would LOVE to hack a wireless system like that....Set a program to flicker all the lights in the house on and off at say 6.30 to 7.30pm and again at 2am?
