New Sig on the Way...
Cant really be a bad idea imo. But it would have to be kept to a certain ammount, not doing that every time youve got PE.Originally Posted by Xaneden

If it came to my school, all the boys would be to embarrased to do it even if theyd likely enjoy it, and all the girls already do dancing so wouldnt help them. Would be a laugh tho![]()

aye i would agree it would be a laugh
but it wouldnt beat the good ol games of footy and i doubt it all the school would be DDR'ing at Dinner time-they'd rather play Footy at dinner.... nothing beats a game of footy with your classmates at dinner time![]()
These games are VERY ADDICITVE!
What I want to know is how they're gonna prevent fights breaking out.
One System = class of typically 30 people.
4 player game = 7.5 rounds.....
Each game lasts 5 or 6 minutes = 45 minutes (Include your getting changed, showers etc and you have some people who won't get to touch it, that is if they want to...)
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
To be fair they'd do better by giving all the kids airsoft guns tweaked so the rounds slightly hurt when hit and all the usual protective equipment and then making them re-enact Counter-Strike or Battlefield 2.
Now that would be also quite funny to see![]()
There was a bunch of us at my school (15 ish years ago) who during cross country would jog to my mates place and play on his Amiga for an hour or so. Ahhh the good old days.
During our high school days, half would pop to the local newsagents and stick there. Too bad the PE teacher later asked someone to stand and keep watch outside for a while....
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
I'm crap at DDR, but I have on occasion played Samba Di Amigo until I struggled to lift my arms up. It's good exercise alright.
no..........not exercise![]()

I really enjoyed DDR (at the arcades) for 2 years, but I can't stand soft mats which I suspect will be used by most schools. I do think that it did good to my stamina back when I was playing almost religiously - I even started playing with ankle weights just to add a further stamina challenge. For a video game, I'd say that it is one of the 'healthier' option.
