Ahhh but stuff like this happens in real life - you only have to open 1 of the "break" magazines aimed at women to see such topics like I ran off with my daughters boyfriend 1/2 my age and other related topics

This does happen in real-life, maybe not so "over the top" as in shameless, but most the scenarios and storylines are "realistic" in some way.
