    Google Mail slow as hell?

    Is anyone else experiencing very slow access to their e-mails in Yahoo? I know it's a free service but many have my Yahoo e-mail address and I cba to change it. But lately it's been getting very, very slow. It often takes 30 seconds to login, several timeouts occur and at this moment in time I'm trying my hardest to attach a small word document (22KB in size) to an e-mail as a covering letter which I NEED to send out tonight, but I've been trying to 30 mins now and it won't upload the file as the "document contains no data" when I click Attach Files.

    No other sites are slow, I have no problem with online games etc, so I know it's JUST Yahoo and it's really starting to get on my nerves. Is there anything you can do, or just live with the pap service?

    What a dumb ass, the title should be Yahoo Mail, not Google... can a mod pls change it? Thanks.

    Yeah, well, I've used this Yahoo account since forever, so it's kinda difficult to change everything to Gmail now. But saying that, I logged into my Gmail account and sent the letter in about 10 seconds. Much better than waiting 30 mins for the stupid Yahoo site...

    Why not just get all you Yahoo mail forwarded to Gmail?

    I know, i just mean if he is switching to gmail (which i would recommend) its a good thing to do for a while just in case he forgot some mail that still comes to Yahoo. Helps in the change over period. Changing the Yahoo 'reply to' address to Gmail can be useful to. You can also change the 'reply to' address so if someone replys to an email from gmail it wlll go to Yahoo if it only for the odd send of an email like this.

    Why not use SMTP to send mail?
    I don't use the web interface anymore, purely going through outlook...
