I've just watched PMQ on BBC News 24. Honestly, it's the best entertainment on the telly i've had all week. It really took me back to my childhood days and school playground arguments and fights!

Yeah, I always watch PMQs when I can. Best banter on telly.![]()
It's just mindless bickering - great entertainment. I think they all go down the pub and have a laugh together afterwards.
It must be scripted![]()

"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
Some of them go down to the pub before. That's why many of them are asleep during the meetings (or whatever those things are called).Originally Posted by iMc
id have to have had a drink before hand personally...its also kinda like wrestlin in the way its scripted...cept for the lack of violence that is...
Most questions are already known to the PM but they don't know the follow up question... However they do employ a mass of people to work out every possible comeback, hows that for scrutiny!Originally Posted by iMc

Scripted isnt the right word. Researched perhaps.
Everyone knows the issues that are going to be addressed, and it all depends on who can put the best spin on it.
Being able to perform well at PMQs is a major plus to a Tory leader. You can't get hammered everytime, it knocks the parties confidence.
Like when Cameron said to Blair 'He was the future once'. Went down very well.![]()
I always watch PMQ's when they are on. It's the best thing on TV and some of their responses are fantastic. Well worth a watch.
