    most excellent survival story....

    pretty impressive - survived 3 days in open ocean, and everybody expected him to have died... great story.

    It's one of those stories which isn't quite believable - considering that you've got very dangerous sea conditions around there - I used to holiday on the coast there as a kid, and the pummelling I've had on my surfboard used to be pretty impressive.

    it's the very definition of frustration -
    we're spending £2500 airfreighting the dog to NZ, the entire exercise is taking waaay too long.
    Will be fine when we get out there and start work - found a nice place to rent for 6 months, so I think once we're there - everything should fall into place.
    end of the day it's about the lifestyle, and there's just a huge amount of stuff to close out over here after 10 years of hard slog.
