Waxed shoe laces

They do untie themselves but they keep dry

Just double knot them.

I have the same issue with the laces in my mackenzie shoes. Waxy coated leather strips that untie themselves quicker than I would get drunk at a free bar.... ( no comments please David )

I still have a pair of puma disc trainers - anyone remember them ? These are brilliant, its a shame the locking and fastening system never took off really

Even the bleedin' double knot comes undone after a while. I've just been to Sainsburys and found a pair of unwaxed 'normal' show laces. Bliss...

Very very annoying. Its not like its difficult to replace a pair of normal ones if they get worn out is it

Also, you buy a nice pair of shoes and they stick cheap crappy unbelieavably short laces on them WTF

I have EXACTLY the same problem, my laces snapped after general wear and tear and i cant find a suitable replacement

you can get replacement cat laces in loadsa places, try your local cobblers.

I on the other hand, find it hard to find laces long enough to lace up my converse hi-tops without having to unlace half the shoe to get them on and off!
