    You photographers out there, mind give me some advice :D

    Hi, i just started playing around with my camera for a few weeks now. Can you guys have a look at my pics and give some feedbacks/advices, I'm not a fan of reading thick books lol (although i do)

    Film Kit:
    Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

    Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

    its quite hard to pinpoint 1 thing as its all about conveying what you are seeing how you want to. i'm not too sure you know what your looking to show from the pics, bit more time spent thinking about the shots helps most of us, some people even make sure to use a tripod all the time just because it slows them down. maybe cropping tighter on the closeups would help. and thinking about the composition on the wider angle would help for sure.

    this is a good image, the path leads us nicely into the frame and its pretty well exposed.


    dont get me wrong, you're doing well and taking some good pics. its just that anything like this takes time

    Well i'm into close-ups, and yeah it seems i still lack a bit of idea for compostion. Will have a look at your link, cheers m8

    SIMPLIFY

    reduce your photos to a single idea, a single subject, a single thought. Very hard to do. Takes time.

    less is more.

    GOLDEN MEAN
    subject in one third of the picture (at the side) and interference on the picture, i.e a chainlink fence. Yeah i lnow its lame but my photography teacher who's like the head photography examiner in england bloody loves it

    yep my thoughts too, they're pictures of everything, you really should start photographing one thing.

    there should be a main focus to your shots

    keep going though theyre looking good
