    Bin and Cue files

    Hi i've got a video from a friend and instead of avi's there is a bin and a cue file. What do i have to do with these to make the video watchable?

    You could either burn them to a cd, or just mount it as a drive using daemon tools.

    If burning use nero and create cdrom ISO???

    Open Nero, close the box that open in the middle of the screen.

    Then go to File > Burn Image

    Select your .cue file and then click burn.

    job Done.

    What and burn the image to the directory of the cd?

    Unless it's a DVD, but its all the same really. Just use Nero.

    I'm not doing anything naughty. I was assuming the mods would assume i was doing something naughty

    You could of just asked your friend, or Googled though

    I remember when I first got a *.bin file, didn't know what to do with it because Nero didn't detect it as an image unless I manually opened it with it..

    http://www.filext.com/ is useful for finding out what filetypes do.

    Or you could get VLC player which plays pretty much anything including .bin files.

    Either mount the image in Alchohol 120% or burn it to disc.
