did you know you're NOT supposed to clean your ears out? You know, with cotton buds or anything!

Like Lowe says, it pushes the wax in deeper and worst of all, leaves little fibres from the cotton to help the next lot of wax stick together better.

I had my ears syringed twice. It was lovely. Like a deep gentle itch that I didn't know I had !!

It's just a warm water pump thing, that squirts the water into your inner ear gently. ANd the SHEER SIZE OF THE THING THAT CAME OUT MADE ME WONDER IF I HAVE HUGE EARS!!!!

    Back to Knoxxys issue:
If you have an infection then a few drugs and you're sorted..but it came from somewhere mate

STOP cleaning your ears out....I know it feels good to start with, but it's wrong. You might need syringing (or whatever word is used) a few times, but the less you prod in there, the less it will build up over time. Promise

    VEF3 is in Beta

It's a new version of Hyperlobby, just for VEF Hyper lobby continues for all other games tho.

Europe in Flames, and IL2 War are ok

We're all flying Friday night if you fancy seeing whether high altitude flight cures the ear problem!

Hope your ear starts to feeling better soon though... not a nice feeling I'm sure...

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

dont know if its been said but...

Hold your nose, and blow through it - dont blow too hrd otherwise it will end up hurting your ears

    Good Luck

ooh, well I'm due for format and reinstall soon tbh and if VEF's coming back IL2 may have to come back with it, used to love flying that, did about 14 missions in a day once iirc.

...it's becoming that way! We usually post in Marlins forum if we're all planning to fly.
Zak and I won't be flying for the next few Fridays tho cos we'll be on our hols... YEAH!

(rather a chnage in thread subject... so just to get it back on track... hope your ear is feeling better now!)

Re: ways to make your ears pop?

i have the same problem as you, i haven't figured out why, or how to pop it back. the best med i've used was mucinex MD 600mg (2 at a time, twice a day), doesn't help you pop it back, but does keep if from popping in the first place. i think i got it from a sinus cold, or chest infection, i've been sick for some time now, with a head cold, the swine flu, and recently a chest infection. i wish i could give you more help, if you find answer please tell me, please!
