    Avatars (not the film)

I don't know if it's me, but you associate the avatar with who it is, and not their name, so when they make a post, you know who it is cos you recognise the picture. but it gets all confusing when people start changing their avatar.

so please stop changing your avatar
find something nice and keep it!

    Re: Avatars (not the film)

If it makes you feel better I've been using the same one since the early 90's

I think that's long enough now that it's retro.

    Re: Avatars (not the film)

I do exactly the same. There are a few people that for some reason, seem to stand out despite not having an avatar at all. TheAnimus springs to mind. Is he the only HEXUS.social member without an avatar? That could be why.

My avatar uses an old HEXUS X, so it's a few years old now. Can't remember what I had before that here and on other forums.

hmm I not seen anyones avatars or sig pics for ages since using Adblock Plus addon. Maybe i should disable to see if i can remember anyones

Just generally prefer to browse with text only, keeps things tidy and fast.

    Re: Avatars (not the film)

The only time I change mine is around the beginning of November.

Then I forget to change it back.
