    Floating my boat/Sinking my wick

    Floating my boat:
Test Drive Unlimited on the XBox 360
Chicken and lettuce sarnies with Dijon mustard
    My coffee perculator

    Sinking my wick:
My NET MD finally packing in
School holidays meaning I have the kids all day
Blister packs that are damn near impsooible to open.

Right then, over to you guys, three floats and three sinks each... and for added spice, try and come up with a different float/sink phrase too!

    Maritime buoyancy achieved by:
Someone FINALLY making ready-made chicken salad sandwiches WITHOUT mayonnaise (thank you Sandwich King).
Another trip to Jena in Germany coming up.
Replacing the crap Dunlop SP10s on the front of my Astra with a couple of Continentals.

Doing me like Xerxes fleet at Salamis:
The not-exactly-slow puncture necessitating some re-tyreing as above.
The ****er who nicked a memory stick off my assistant's desk at work which he'd left there with a load of WEP keys on it...necessitating a LOT of faffing about changing them all.
DRM, for making me buy TWO MP3 players for the wife (well...I didn't know she'd been buying downloads off Tesco when I got her the first one...).

    Rising:
Having just had a nice trip to France avec mes amis.
Appreciating having parents to cook you food.
My g/f coming to visit tomorrow.

    Falling:
Being searched at Marseille purely because we were British.
The weather. At this rate, the Triumph won't see daylight for a fair while.
Realising just how much money I spent on food on this holiday.

    Hot:
Being able to relocate downstairs into the living room, computer, consoles et all without any complaints.
House fully stocked with food, as opposed to the weekend where I was living off dry rice crispies
After the next fortnight, which I've got off, I've only got four more weeks and my 7 year stretch (of secondary education) is finally over.

    Not:
g/f ill and not coming over tonight
Eating too much food and feeling a bit rough at the moment
Being in debt for the first time in my life. Even if it is only £1.98. Just preparing myself for Uni life, I guess.
