What do you most desire in life?

Ok for art work that I have kinda left till the last minute, I have finally decided to do 'Objects of Desire'. And for this, I need to know what people want in their life. Specifically, it doesn't have to be 'objects', but anything. For example; a Lamborghini, Jessica Alba or wads of cash (object related) or have world peace or a new friendly energy source or something. This is completely anonymous really as I will end up drawing the most popular ones in some kind of hybrid piece for my art exam (also the things I deem most cool to draw/appear). My ideas are ever flowing, so it could turn out different to the proposed idea above lol.

And to start it off, I'm gonna say wealthy and to be one of the most respected music producers in the music world in the near future :D

Don't criticize each others (or mine) too negatively as we all live our own lives and dreams :)

Right now my object of desire is quite short-term.

I desire my NI number, which is in Bristol, yet I'm in Hull... crap.

I kid you not, though, i could REALLY do with it.

so failing that I'll take a major league record deal with clauses that give me full control over anything I record/release, a reasonable cash advance and tours/promotional material paid in full by the record company.

To be Happy, i think this can be done with an attractive and caring young lady whilst i'm still young.

Then when i get my license and some driving experience i'd like some sort of sporty but comfy car....thinking along the lines of DB9/Continental GT.

Then when it's time for a house i'd like a modern appartment in london then probably go out to the county and have kids later on.

Although i'd like to earn it, not get it from the lottery of something....that defeats the point of dreams

Dood you live in York. The quality of totty in your area of the country on a weekend in the bars is like double anywhere else. Don't let anything stand in your way of some hittage of the posh totty!

To not have to worry about anything monetary, have a peaceful life, an enjoyable job and probably 2-3 kids to play with (we're still deciding). Not too much to ask, probably a nice BMW X5 for a family car and a nice house with ample rooms for all would be great..

Short term? Stop working for Sheffield Uni and get a half decent job at a research firm..

Does it have to be in the realms of reality? :D

I've a nice shiny new pc coming in a few days and although it's far from state of the art I'll still be the most chuffed person in chuffedtown on chuffed day when it arrives.

I've been off work for a few months through illness (nowt serious) and it gives you a lot of time to reassess your priorities. Without wages you quickly re-learn the value of a steady income and things you take for granted as your standard of living goes up you start being immensely grateful for again.

Materialistc stuff ? A season pass for Formula 1 and a silver SLK for the missus for putting up with me !

It's good to see this forum isn't bound not just by the aspects of themselves (like me :cool:) and although its no bad thing, there are those willing to share their dreams with others aswell; more specifically their family and friends. So now I gotta come up with a really cool art piece to do with this and all the ideas shown... anyone got any cool ideas? :D I've got a few done already, but if anyone has anything no matter how eccentric (tis art, after all) don't be scared to say :P
