Pretty harmless as background music imo, not that I'm particularly fond of anyone involved.
Well it sure ain't no Run DMC vs. Aerosmith*, but having listened to the whole thing I'm shamefacedly going to have to say that I don't think it sucks all that much. However:
Nelly: being able to shout a load of words in the minor 7th and the octave doesn't make you a rapper or a singer- so choose one or the other, fool.
Timberlake: I'll give you the singing. However the 'wave your hand in the air like you just don't care' wasn't cool when Will Smith did it ten years ago.
*...and even then I'd take the original. More soulful than any rap music IMO:D

to be fair, they just to a bad song and made it worse.
