there is already a thread about this a couple of threads up (its in a sticky), but yeh there does seem to be loads of people spamming to get to the magic 50 posts so they can access the forsale forum, however the mods to do a good job of deleting loads of spam, and resetting offending members post counts
mark
OOhhh behind the sceens magic ...
Good job Mods, I din't even notice. But that is the point isn't it?![]()
so pointless little comments like this one that really add little or no value to a discussion are considered spam yet advantageously for myself they increase my post count, despite there being no real advantage since I'm well over the threshold of 50 posts...
ho hum... chalk up another then
p.s. I think all spammers should have their email address's paraded on the forums to which we are all obliged to sign them up to countless timewasting sales pitches that will go on to flood their in-boxes. thus exacting fitting revenge/poetic justice on those that dare post pointless remarks just to increase their tally...

Rather than delete this thread it could be merged into the other "Spam Complaints" thread, though I have to agree, it doesn't really have much purpose....

If i or anyone i know starts getting spam emails from the email address they use on this forum we will know who to come to
Obviuosly you havent been on the receiving end of people doing this to your personal email. Else you would know that it is very disheartening.
Oooooooh .... I LIKE the way you think, mate.Originally posted by shiato storm

Nice mature approach
I'd rather not waste MY time being just as bad as the "spammers" by signing them up to spam email? Seems rather hypocritical?
